SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA might be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed with regard to the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The service level here produced for intervention experiences a higher influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
